Set in the beautiful countryside of the Dordogne region, only 10 minutes from the lovely town of Bergerac, this traditional French country house is being opened for limited periods throughout the year to welcome small numbers of Francophiles. |
Speak it, live it! There can be no better way to learn French than to be in France; immersed in the language and culture for an intensive, enjoyable 7 whole days!
For one week, you will take part in morning French lessons in a group with no more than 7 other people, led by an experienced, lively teacher who loves their language and is dedicated to building your confidence and communication skills.
These intensive and fun sessions are complimented by excursions which enable you to really understand the French way of life. Led by a travel journalist who has published a book about the region, you will discover new aspects of French history, wine (with plenty of tasting!), architecture and culture. All of these forays into this stunningly beautiful region take place in French… vous parlerez en français.
Each evening, you will join the hostess and other guests for a dinner of traditional French fare and enjoy lively discussion with French guests about topics you have selected in advance and prepared beforehand in class.
Your accommodation is in a country house which offers traditional French style and comfort with rooms having en-suite baths or showers. There is also an outdoor tennis court, swimming pool and small fishing lake set in spacious grounds.
Flights direct from UK to Bergerac mean you only have a 15-minute journey to the house. Alternatively, you can travel by Eurostar to Lille and enjoy a train journey through France via Libourne ... or integrate the week into a longer holiday with your car.

Prices include: Small group teaching at a suitable level, all food and accommodation, transport for outings, transfer to and from Bergerac airport or train station.
